 Description

The coastal zone of Southwest Peloponnese - Messinia is characterized by the smooth and soft motif created by the low, green hills that end up in the sea. In a few cases, this general morphology is interrupted by some rocky and steep areas, where their wild and special beauty emerges and stands out strongly when they are in direct contrast with the rest of the natural environment. One such case is the special natural environment that surrounds this exceptional villa. A rocky hill with low vegetation that looks as if it traveled from some barren island of the Cyclades to the green Greek South, Messinia. It is no coincidence that in this villa there are strong architectural elements reminiscent of the Greek island-Cycladic architectural approach. The view is incredible. The South-East orientation offers an unobstructed view of the sea, the Messinian Gulf and the Taygetos mountain with its snow-capped peaks in the winter months. To the North-East the view of the barren hill is reminiscent of an Aegean Island, while the view to the South and South-West is lush with olive trees and wild Messinian green vegetation... and the house, in perfect harmony with this wonderful environment, seems to fly over the rocks of the wild and beautiful hill like a white impressive and independent seabird.

The villa is built on 3 levels, on a plot of 5,500 m², while its construction started in 2009 and did not stop developing, mainly in the outdoor space, until 2016.

The middle level measures 144 m², consisting of a spacious open plan living room with a stove and a fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, one bathroom, one WC and a large storage area. All bedrooms enjoy splendid sea views from the communal balcony, which overlooks the olive groves.

The upper level of 26 m² is accessible via an internal staircase and consists of the spacious master bedroom and one bathroom. The master bedroom has straight access to the large terrace of 80 m², enjoying breath-taking sea and mountain views.

The spacious basement measures 144 m² and consists of storage areas.

All windows and patio-doors are double-glazed aluminium. The villa is an exceptional example of eco-friendliness, having a high-quality windmill and solar energy supply with a battery storage package for the complete electricity requirement, while there are also two water tanks, for the exclusive and complete water supply, with a capacity of about 85,000 and 240,000 liters of rainwater, which is collected in the winter. The larger tank is installed underground.  The house is also equipped with an extra gas boiler for hot water.

The outdoor area of the house is also magnificent and ideal for relaxing and enjoying with your family and friends. The Infinity swimming pool of 10 x 4 meter dominates the place and is impressively located against the slope adjacent to the large terrace of the holiday house. Right by the pool, two covered terraces, with galvanized furniture, invite you to enjoy their shade. About 60 olive trees (older and younger) have been replanted around the house and by the pool, while the beautiful garden is equipped with an automatic watering system.

The access to the house is very easy via a concrete path, starting from the main asphalt road from Koroni to Finikounda and there is ample space for parking your car.

The distance to the nearest sandy beach is 4 km.
