The house is located in a wonderful rural area just outside the small, quiet and traditional village of Zizani which is not touched by tourism and keeps the authentic Greek atmosphere. The plot is measuring approximately 9,000 m² where it is allowed to build 200 m². The house has been placed on a position that provides full privacy to the guests and enjoys breathtaking unobstructed views to the sea, the island Schiza and the hillsides sloping dramatically to a valley with olive groves. The house measures 37 m² under a beautiful timber ceiling consisting of a sitting area with a cozy wood-burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, one bathroom with shower - toilet and an attic above the bathroom. The sitting room has straight access to a spacious veranda (18.5 m²) which is covered by tiled pergola. There is also an outdoor shower, a practical addition to the house.

The garden surrounds the house and is partly planted with olive trees.

The house is fully self-supporting and climate friendly. It gets electricity from a system with solar panels and batteries, but it is prepared to get connected to the main electricity supply (85 m away) with all the necessary wiring. Also, hot water comes through a solar panel with boiler

The access to the house is easy. It takes 17 minutes (7.5 km) to drive to the traditional fishing village Finikounda which is surrounded by beautiful sandy beaches while the village itself has a very pretty harbour for traditional fishing boats and recreational boats. The beaches of Finikounda are served by traditionally Greek cafes and restaurants.

Koroni, 25 minutes away, is a traditional Greek town which provides a range of amenities including various banks, shopping and food outlets, cafeterias, restaurants and fish tavernas, doctor’s surgery, dentist and a pharmacy. It also features a long golden beach with a wind surfing school and a taverna.

Also, it takes 25 minutes to drive to the seafront small historical town Methoni, an old trading port with Venetian links, evidence of which abounds in its beautiful castle beneath which lie a beach and a sheltered harbour. Methoni has doctors’ surgery, dentist, pharmacy, good local shopping, super markets, bank, post office and very good restaurants.

Pylos, 35 minutes away, is a busy small town with port and extensive marina. It has a good range of shops, restaurants, cafes and banks built around a lovely central square, shaded by ancient plane trees. It also boasts an impressive castle. There are doctors and a small hospital/health centre with good facilities and reliable staff who provide prompt emergency service.

The nearest signature golf course of (Navarino Bay) is 45 minutes away while the next signature golf course (Navarino Dunes) is 50 minutes away.

It takes 50 minutes to drive to the International Airport (KLX) and the hospital of Kalamata which is the administrative capital of the area. Kalamata has a port, large yachting marina and motorway access to ATHENS. The centre of town has been the subject of major regeneration during the past few years and offers a wide range of shopping, eating and relaxing opportunities along its main boulevard. There is a greater variety of shops here offering designer goods and some internationally known stores.
