This beautiful single storey house was built in the years 2009 - 2010 in the quiet and peaceful surroundings of Finikounda, in walking distance 400 m to the village and 200 m to the amazing sandy long beach Anemomilos with its restaurant – cafeteria and the water sports centre.
The village itself has a very pretty harbour for traditional fishing boats and recreational boats while the village sandy beach is served by traditionally Greek cafes, restaurants and shops.
The plot is measuring 950 m² while the house is measuring 106 m² of living area divided in two parts, the main house and the guest bedroom.
The main house of 82 m² consists of an open plan living room and a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The guest bedroom (linked to the main house) with its bathroom are measuring 24 m² in total
Both house and guest bedroom have beautiful exposed timber roofs and they enjoy straight access to the large terrace which is covered with an impressive tiled veranda of approx. 40 m² and enjoys relaxing views to the beautiful garden.
The house has been furnished and equipped, after an Italian architect study, of first quality Italian furniture and machinery. Windows and patio doors are double-glazed, aluminum (anti-corrosion) units with shutters and integral fly-screens. All rooms are equipped with Inverter Air Conditioning units suitable for cooling and heating the house all year round. The house is connected to the main water supply of the Municipality. The sanitary water is heated by a Solar Panel that works perfectly either in the summer but also in the winter sunny days. However, the house has also an old water well which is connected to the automatic irrigation system of the garden. The Waste water system is composed by an automatic underground liquid sewage bio-system which is positioned in the garden of the neighbouring house.
Right on the border to the agricultural road, an external fencing wall has been built with local natural stones and steel railings on top of the wall. A steel entrance gate leads to the spacious paved area that surrounds the house. The borders of the plot are fenced and the fabulous garden is planted with nice flowers and plants, 12 productive olive trees, orange, lemon and fig trees.
The Villa has been constructed according the Greek anti-earthquake regulations and specifications, with a skeleton in reinforced concrete and heavy bricks side walls. The insulated roof is made of timber covered with traditional heavy ceramic tiles.
